The NYU Club of Minnesota invites all TCAN clubs to meet the World Press Institute Fellows at the University of St. Thomas.

The World Press Institute (WPI) has for over 50 years brought young and emerging foreign reporters to the US for an intensive 9 week introduction to learn about the United States of America and American journalism practices and techniques. This has consistently proven to be a life-changing experience for the fellows. Through a partnership with University of St. Thomas, the WPI fellows spend a month based in St. Paul before they head out to visit media centers and entities throughout the country. They return to Minnesota for one week in October before heading home. Previous fellows have finished their careers as editors and publishers of major news outlets and significant authors and opinion leaders in their own countries.
