Please join the Columbia Club of Minnesota in an exploration of the First Amendment in the 21st Century.  Jordan Kushner (CC’87), a noted defender of the First Amendment will share his perspective on the current state of the First Amendment discussing his personal experiences and the challenges it faces in 2020.  Participants can expect a lively conversation and Q & A experience.

Mr. Kushner handles civil and criminal litigation, including mostly criminal defense and civil rights plaintiff cases in state and federal courts. He is certified as a criminal law specialist by the Minnesota State Bar Association and has defended hundreds of political activists in criminal cases, including numerous people involved in Black Lives Matter protests during the past six years.
