After his early career as a retail and hospitality entrepreneur, Andrew Dayton founded the Constellation Fund, a foundation bringing a new perspective to our community’s philanthropic marketplace: an evidence-driven, community-informed approach to poverty alleviation. Join us to hear Andrew talk about Constellation's impact-oriented perspective on giving back.

Andrew Dayton is the founder and CEO of the Constellation Fund, which leverages data, research, and advanced analytics alongside careful qualitative analysis to identify, fund, and empower the people and organizations making the biggest demonstrable impacts in the fight against poverty in the Twin Cities. In just over two years – after attracting a dynamic staff, an growing cadre of leading corporate partners, a network of our state's brightest minds and leading research institutions, a distinguished and committed Board of Directors, and a rapidly-expanding donor base – Constellation has quickly established itself as a model of modern, evidence-driven philanthropy.

Andrew previously co-founded and co-owned North Corp, an award-winning hospitality group in the Twin Cities. He has worked as the Deputy Legislative Director to former San Francisco Mayor Edwin M. Lee, leading San Francisco’s state and federal policy and budgetary priorities in Sacramento and Washington D.C.
