ndrew Dayton is a social entrepreneur with a passion for community development and social equity. He recently launched the Constellation Fund, a grantmaking organization inspired by New York’s Robin Hood Foundation that uses data, research, and analytics to identify, fund, and partner with the people and organizations making the biggest demonstrable impacts in the fight against poverty in the Twin Cities. In his talk, Rethinking Impact: How Evidence Can Transform the Philanthropic Marketplace, he will discuss his ideas that enabled him to attract some of the most successful local business leaders and philanthropists to support the Constellation Fund’s efforts to find, fund, and partner with the most impactful poverty-fighting organizations in the Twin Cities.

Andrew is also the co-founder and co-owner of North Corp, the umbrella company behind the transformation of a 130-year-old warehouse in Minneapolis into three award-winning businesses—a restaurant, craft cocktail bar, and men’s clothing store—that collectively employ nearly 100 people.

He sits on the boards of The Minneapolis Foundation and Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors.
