The State of Native Nations: A White House Perspective

Go beyond today's headlines. Learn from a White House insider on the impact President Obama had on Indian Country and what Native Nations might expect going forward. Karen Diver served in President Obama's White House as Special Assistant for Native American Affairs. As part of the Domestic Policy Council, Ms. Diver assisted with inter-agency efforts, policy and regulatory changes to benefit 567 Native American Tribes. Before joining the Obama administration, Karen was Chairwoman of the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa from 2007 to 2015.
