The Columbia and Penn Clubs of MN hosted a sold out joint event on March 7th. Seventy people enjoyed an evening of wine tasting and networking at Henry & Son, alongside owner and Columbia grad, Gretchen Skedsvold.

Wine Tasting at Henry & Son
The wine tastings were facilitated by Bill Summerville, who was the longtime sommelier at La Belle Vie and most recently the general manager of Spoon and Stable, prior to his current position with New France Wine Co. Alumni tasted Italian wines, guided by the broad and impressive knowledge of Bill Summerville. Various pairings of meats, cheeses, breads, pickles, and the like, were provided by Clancey’s Meats & Fish, located in the Linden Hills neighborhood of Minneapolis.
